Before you start

  • Your own videoA talking-head or screen recording you made: MP4, MOV, WebM or MKV, up to 30 minutes and 2 GB, with your voice on it.
  • A few minutesThe upload, then about a minute or two per 10 minutes of video to transcribe. You can close the page while it works.
It edits your own footage. It never makes a video from nothing (no avatars, no stock footage) and it never posts anything for you.
PART 01

What it does and when to use it

Cuts the ums and the pausesEvery word is transcribed with its own start and end time. Fillers (um, uh, ah, "you know" and the rest of your list) and pauses longer than you set become a cut list on the transcript, and you untick any you want to keep.
Picks the short clipsOne AI call reads the transcript and picks the moments that stand on their own as Shorts, Reels or TikToks, each with a hook line and why it works. Code checks each one is inside the video and the right length.
ClipBuildrClipBuildr inside Video Editr finds your best moments and makes short vertical clips with captions.
Adds simple animationsCaptions word by word in your brand colour, zoom punch-ins on the emphasised lines, text pop-ups for key phrases, a lower third with your name and title, and a progress bar on clips.
Use it forTalking-head videos, tutorials, screen recordings, webinar replays and podcasts on video. Not for footage without speech: it has nothing to cut by.
